Holy batman this is a revelation! I’ve had PCOS my entire life- I’ve never had a period without birth control and I’m 30 years old. In high school I was on the swim and rowing team, and was an athlete in college as well. Now I crossfit and weight train intensely. I’ve always been a healthy weight, but despite intense training have never eaten after workouts. In fact, I usually workout in the evenings after dinner and then just go to sleep. I always thought of post workout meals as extra calories I didn’t need. Thank you stefanie!! This may be one of the keys to my fertility.
